Choosing iPad Cases and Covers
Dani Wijaya asked:
iPad is one of Apple’s latest and most famous innovations. It combines the functionality of a laptop and a smartphone. With an iPad you can get all sorts of entertainment that you can expect from any other electronic gadgets, and more. You can listen to the music, read digital books, watch movies, and browse the internet, among others. All Apple approved applications can be run in this state of the art device which uses the similar operation system as the iPhone.
If you have an iPad, you will need a case or a cover to protect it against dust and scratches. Picking a case or cover can be a little confusing, because there are lots of choices to choose from. If you want to have a reasonable yet decent casing to protect your precious iPad, you can choose one of the three products recommended below:
1. The first product that you might want to consider buying is the CrazyOnDigital iPad Leather Case. It has a very simple, yet elegant and fashionable design. The black exterior leather adds a sense of luxury and the interior padding protects your iPad.
2. You can also consider getting the Acase Leather Flip Book Jacket. This case has a very unique appearance: the front cover comes with a zipper in the middle. It also comes in black. Unlike the CrazyOnDigital case, the Acase features an elastic closure which will guarantee that your device stays put even when you are on the move. Also, it is made with a very high quality leather material just as the name suggests. For that reason, if you are looking for a luxurious case that offers extra protection for your iPad, this product is definitely what you need. The Acase is slightly more expensive than the CrazyOnDigital case, but its features are worth paying the extra money for.
3. For a different look, try the Zagg LEATHERskin for iPad. It comes in plain black, plain brown, and premium alligator design. This protective skin is made of soft, genuine leather, and it gives your iPad the touch of uniqueness and elegance. The LEATHERskin is designed to follow the shape of your device, and the special adhesive keeps it in place. However, it only protects the back of your iPad. For a scratch-free screen, Zagg recommends the InvisibleSHIELD screen protector.
All the above products are some of the most popular choices of iPad cases and covers. There’s still a lot more available in various gadget stores. Alternatively, you can browse the internet for more choices.

Apple iPad 2 Review Part 2
Mac Jones asked:
The Apple iPad 2 has now been set free to retail stores across the UK, US, Canada and Australia. In this second part of our iPad 2 review, we take a look at the technical updates Apple has lavished upon this new model.
Apple technical improvements
A raft of technical improvements are included in the iPad 2. The A4 processor is superseded by a Samsung designed A5 model with twice the power and up to nine time more graphical punch. On top of this the amount of RAM (or Random access Memory) has been doubled from 256MB to 512MB. Although the original iPad was no slouch, these enhancements bring a welcome improvement in the general speed and responsiveness of the machine. If you are a gamer you will see the biggest improvement as with games and graphically demanding Apps performance is significantly better with superior frames rates and less stuttering.
iPad 2 cameras
For many consumers, cameras are the sole reason to avoid the iPad 1 and get an iPad 2 surrounded cameras. The original didn’t have any, whilst the new one has two! The rear camera can take still pictures and capture video at up to 720p resolution, whilst the front is just VGA resolution and used primarily just for the new Face Time application. Picture quality is acceptable but no match for a dedicated compact camera. The iPad is a little too big to comfortably used to take pictures on a regular basis. It fares a little better with video, especially with high definition material.
Battery life
In spite of the increased performance, battery life is still rated at ten hours. Even with a more powerful processor, graphics chip and double the amount of RAM, thanks to a raft of efficiently improvements the battery life still matches that of the original iPad.
My real life experience with the machine served to back up these claims. Using my iPad 2 with Wi-Fi on and the screen set at 50% brightness I managed just over nine hours whilst watching two films and doing some internet browsing. I think this is a very impressive figure considering the performance on offer. When you think that you can charge the iPad up overnight and use it for a full business day without having to drag around a charger and power pack with you this is an impressive part of Apple’s package.
These improvements keep the iPad well ahead of the competition. The first version of the tablet was easily good enough to see off rivals from Motorola and Samsung and this update puts it even further ahead of the competition.
Apple iPad 2 Costs
Costs, traditionally an Apple criticism, aren’t really an issue either. Comparing specifications of the base iPad Wi-Fi 16GB like-for-like with products from competing manufacturers, you can often end up paying more for an inferior product elsewhere. This really is a great machine and I have no reservations in highly recommending to it anyone in the market for such a device. To think that just over a year ago you couldn’t even buy a tablet PC!

iPad Two
Timothy Ellis asked:
If you have been a fan of all other previous iPads, then you are probably going to like the iPad two as well. There has been an anticipated introduction of a newer iPad and there have been some insider data that has been leaking into the market and the information keeps leaking out in bigger and bigger volumes.
The 2010 iPad was lacking a camera and this was seen as a possible downside. The lack of a camera on the iPad made it look like an inferior as compared to the cheaper netbooks. However, fans and enthusiasts are waiting and holding their breath for the release of the iPad 2 that has been rumored to be about to introduced into the market around the spring season of 2011. They are said to have requested Foxconn which is their Asian contact and partner to manufacture and be able to import these 2G iPad in three months and therefore their partner Foxconn is aware that they should be ready for shipping by the second month of 2011.
Speculations are high that the Apple company will try and create the iPad to have features that are much more similar to the iPhone 4 and if that is the real thing, then the iPad two will have features like a wider support to allow for the airplay streaming, then have a front camera and a video phone together with a retina display that should be about 9.7″ just like with the iPhone. iPad 2 is also expected to be able to play high definition video 1080p and some sources say that it will have two cameras now. Talks of a slimmer design and a high resolution screen are rife.
If the gadget is going to have a front camera for FaceTime, then there is also another possibility for it to have a webcam feature. This will therefore mean that one can have a video chat. A video chat will require using voice. A voice chat would therefore require the use of VoIP and maybe an application would be a good option instead of a monthly billed plan. Sources however agree that the iPad 2 will be very beneficial to those who will require to work with video conferencing. It will also be good for game players and its GPS unit will simply work wonders especially those times when you just want to locate a restaurant or store that is close by. You will only have to grasp the iPad 2 and point it outward so that the camera and the built in digital compass show you the location of the restaurants from a view of your current location.
Most fans hope that the iPad two will have the same design as the previous ones but if Apple can make it slimmer, there should be no problem. The iPad two is by no means bulky but a slimmer design with maximum screen size will always be appreciated.
